Policies

Office Hours: 
Our front desk is staffed from 9:00-5:00 p.m. daily. We welcome our guests beginning at 3 p.m. daily. Early check-in times will be extended with no extra fee when they are available. Check-out time is 11 a.m., with later times available for an additional charge of $10.00 per hour. Guest’s must check out no later than 1 p.m. for next guest arrival.

Pets: 
In order the preserve the history and prestige of the Florida House Inn, we do not allow pets. Service dogs are welcome with proper paper work. 

Fireplaces: All of our guest room fireplaces are non-working, decorative fireplaces due to city regulations.

Cancellation: 
If you are unable to keep your booking and cancel eight (7) days or more prior to the arrival date, your deposit will be refunded minus a $35.00 cancellation fee.  If you cancel seven (7) days or less prior to the day of check-in date you will be responsible for the entire cost of the stay including any applicable taxes.  The cancellation policy also applies for No Shows and Early Departures following arrival.  This policy is subject to change for special dates.

Children: 
Children 10 years of age and older are welcome at The Florida House Inn. We apologize, but we are unable to accommodate children under 10.

Parking: 
The hotel is centrally located on Third Street. Our private parking lot is directly behind the Inn on South 4th St. 

Smoking: 
Our hotel is a smoke-free establishment. For your convenience, smoking is allowed in the garden courtyard. Smoking in a designated nonsmoking area is subject to a $250 fine.

Breakfast: 
Open between 8:30-9:30 a.m. in our breakfast room located on the main level of the Inn. Guests are welcome to enjoy seating on our back porch, front porch or inside dining room overlooking the courtyard.  Enjoy a cup of complimentary coffee or fruit in our parlor room available anytime!
